The practice of law

Just a few cases. Imagine your company has come up with a product and someone is copying it. A company is suddenly using the same brand name as yours. One of your employees develops something new and starts exploiting it for himself. Of course you want to fight this.

New digital technologies also raise issues. For example, social media and privacy legislation are areas that entrepreneurs often struggle with. May you use photos from the internet without any consent? In what way is privacy legislation embedded in your organization? How do you keep control of your know-how in a joint venture? What if a competitor unexpectedly hacks your data for a tender? And what if your trademark is used in a VR-game?

With all these kind of issues and questions, you will find Peter Snoeker to be a very experienced legal expert and advisor with an entrepeneurial eye.

Peter Snoeker

During his law studies in Leiden, Peter Snoeker (Breda, 1959) worked for a year and a half as a court clerk at the court in Haarlem in (mostly IP-) injunction proceedings. He then became a lawyer in 1988, with a renowned law firm in Amsterdam, of which he became a partner in 1994. In 2007 he started a law firm with two other partners and some junior lawyers. In 2010 he switched to his own boutique firm, focusing on IP-law, IT-law, contract law and and public procurement law.
